LIVERPOOL SUBMIT ENQUIRY FOR THIS ATALANTA PLAYER: WILL THEY GET HIM?
Liverpool is strengthening its squad in preparation for the upcoming season. According to a source in Calciomercato, they have made an official inquiry for Teun Koopmeiners, an Atalanta midfielder. This is the most recent update.
The Reds think they will need to add a new midfield player in the summer due to their current roster of injured players and unclear futures. But Arsenal is a true competitor in this battle, right up there with teams like Juventus, Manchester United, Tottenham, and Liverpool.
Teun Koopmeiners, who climbed the ranks at AZ Youth Academy, signed a €12 million rumored contract to join Atalanta in the summer of 2021. He has made tremendous progress in his football career since joining the Serie A team and has become an important member.

In 34 games this season, the 26-year-old has already tallied 12 goals and four assists. In a game, he averages 1.4 shots, 1.3 crucial passes, and 0.4 dribbles. Despite his preference for attacking midfield play, he is also capable of playing defensive midfielder duties (numbers via Whoscored).
Koopmeiners’s crucial passes and through balls are excellent tools for developing attacks. His long-range shooting and ability to take set pieces enable him to register points. He has previously stated that he hoped to play in the Premier League in the future.
