Dream Green Bay Packers starting lineup for the 2024 season

In 2024, the Green Bay Packers have an opportunity to transform from unexpected playoff participants into legitimate Super Bowl contenders.

With Jordan Love’s right arm, a youthful, gifted offense, and a defensive skill boost, the Packers have what it takes to challenge the San Francisco 49ers for the NFC title. Josh Jacobs and Xavier McKinney were signed by general manager Brian Gutekunst in free agency, which was a great start, but more work needs to be done.

Until September, how can the Packers strengthen their starting lineup? Veteran talent is still available in free agency, and Green Bay has 11 picks when the draft takes place in April.

We’ve assembled the Packers’ ideal starting lineup for 2024. One criteria applies: it must be grounded in reality. The Packers will not sign every elite free agent and choose Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers in the draft. It’s important to remember that not every newcomer will get started. Though they might select more offensive tackles in the draft, the Packers are unlikely to take Zach Tom or Rasheed Walker’s place right away.

QB Jordan Love RB Josh Jacobs, Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Jayden Reed, wide receivers TE Luke Musgrave LT Walker, Rasheed LG Jenkins, Elgton C Josh Myers RG Zak Zinter (RT) Zach Tom

Right guard is the opening in the starting lineup, but the Packers will probably add more offensive lineman through the draft. Zak Zinter of Michigan is a possible Day 3 target who might start right away in Green Bay. The Packers have arranged a Top 30 pre-draft visit with Zinter, according to Ryan Fowler of The Draft Network.

The starting lineup is by no means the final lineup. In addition to Josh Jacobs, Green Bay might sign a rookie running back to complement the likes of Tucker Kraft and Dontayvion Wicks. A top goal is to add depth to the offensive line, which includes finding a right guard to challenge Sean Rhyan.

Packers’ ideal defensive starting lineup DE Rashan Gary DT Devonte Wyatt, DT Kenny Clark DE Preston Smith LB Walker Quay LB Cooper Edgerrin CB Jaire CB Cooper, Alexander CB Carrington DeJean Valentine’s Day Justin Simmons and Xavier McKinney There may be other defense-related adjustments. By adding Xavier McKinney to the roster, the Packers improved the safety position; but, they still need to improve the defense.
