Packers could cut a recent  can draft again pick following the 2024 NFL Draft

In the 2024 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers may choose to choose two or perhaps three picks at guard and tackle. Although the five starting positions are in somewhat excellent shape, Green Bay lost nearly all of its depth in free agency when Jon Runyan, Yosh Nijman, and David Bakthiari left the team. Together, they made 203 career starts for the Packers.

With Runyan gone, Green Bay has an opening at right guard. As things stand, Sean Rhyan, a third-year, is the front-runner to take the position, but the Packers will probably add competition in the draft. Luke Tenuta, Kadeem Telfort, and Royce Newman are the offensive line’s current backups. The Packers need to make further adjustments, which might involve adding more reinforcements. College tackles with guard-like mobility are frequently targeted by the Packers. They adore lines that are versatile. Duke’s Graham Barton and Washington’s Troy Fautanu are two ideal first-round picks. They both played left tackle in college, and they both have top Relative Athletic Scores. They are capable of playing all five positions. It appears inevitable that Green Bay will release Newman this offseason, but it can wait until it improves the offensive line in the draft.
