On Monday, new details about EA Sports College Football will be released.
In conjunction with the College Football Playoff National Championship, more details on the eagerly anticipated comeback of EA Sports’ college football franchise are anticipated to be made public.
There hasn’t been much information released regarding the comeback of EA Sports’ college football video game. That will change on Monday, when insiders tell 247Sports that the publisher is anticipated to provide an official update on the progress — and possibly new photographs — of the much awaited comeback of the franchise.
New information on the video game is anticipated to be made available online by EA Sports on Monday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, in conjunction with the College Football Playoff national championship game between No. 1 Michigan (14-0) and No. 2 Washington (14-0) in Houston.
Although it is anticipated that the game will release in the summer, it is unclear if EA Sports will reveal the game’s debut date on Monday. Video games in the NCAA Football series were previously released by EA Sports in mid- to late-July; however, that franchise concluded with NCAA ’14 in the summer of 2013. The NCAA name will not be used for the new game.
Monday’s announcement of further details is in keeping with EA Sports’ practice from the 2000s, when the firm unveiled gameplay teases after the BCS National Championship Game. The publisher had sent ESPN a few pictures and an exclusive interview with EA vice president Dary Holt in November 2022; the release on Monday is anticipated to be the first official look at the game.
