2024 NFL postseason Wild Card schedule: kickoff time and date for the Detroit Lions are established
The whole NFL playoff schedule for the Wild Card round in 2024, which includes the kickoff time, TV station, and internet streaming for the Detroit Lions vs. Los Angeles Rams game.
The inaugural Detroit Lions playoff game at Ford Field has a confirmed date and time. The Los Angeles Rams will be their guests on Sunday, January 14 at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
The 12-5 Lions and 10-7 Rams will play their first home playoff game in Detroit since 1994. The Lions are 5-3 in their previous eight games, while Los Angeles has won seven of them.
The quarterbacks will, of course, be the focal point of the game’s narrative. Three years ago in January 2021, the Lions sent Matthew Stafford to Los Angeles for Jared Goff and a ton of draft picks. Since then, Stafford has claimed a Super Bowl, and the Lions have rebuilt their club to their current level using the draft money. Notably, Stafford’s first game in Detroit following that trade will be this one. Despite this, the two teams met in Los Angeles in 2021, with the Rams emerging victorious 28-19.
