Dak Prescott Named NFL Comeback Player of the Year Finalist

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been named a finalist for the 2025 NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award, capping off a remarkable season following a major injury.

Prescott, who missed significant time last season due to a hamstring injury, returned stronger than ever in 2025. He started all 17 games, throwing for 4,552 yards and 30 touchdowns, and earned his fourth Pro Bowl selection. This performance not only helped the Cowboys remain competitive but also saw Prescott surpass Tony Romo as the franchise’s all-time passing leader.

He is one of five finalists for the award, alongside Stefon Diggs, Aidan Hutchinson, Trevor Lawrence, and Christian McCaffrey. The winner will be announced at the NFL Honors ceremony on February 5, 2026.

For Prescott, this marks the second time he has been a finalist, having previously earned the nod in 2021 after returning from an ankle injury.

🔥 Dak’s comeback story shows resilience, determination, and elite talent — a true testament to why he’s one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks today.
