Report: Dan Pitcher Interviewing For New England Patriots Offensive Coordinator Position, Other OC Jobs

Dan Pitcher

Cincinnati has two offensive coaches drawing outside interest this cycle.

CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterbacks coach Dan Pitcher has multiple offensive coordinator interviews lined up this week as the New England Patriots show interest along with the Raiders and another interview with New Orleans. Ian Rapoport reported the news after Pitcher also completed an interview request with the New Orleans Saints last week.

“The Bengals have an in-house replacement for Callahan as OC in QBs coach Dan Pitcher, but he has a full docket of OC interviews this week,” Rapoport posted. “Sources say he has a zoom with the Patriots tomorrow, then flies to Las Vegas for the Raiders at night. He has the Saints on Thursday.”

Pitcher is the next man up to replace Brian Callahan after he took the Titans head coaching gig.

Pitcher has received heavy praise from head coach Zac Taylor and quarterbacks he’s coached over eight seasons in Cincinnati.
