Miami is still a strong candidate to land star receiver Jaime Ffrench.

LAS VEGAS — According to 247Sports, Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin four-star receiver Jaime Ffrench is ranked No. 30 overall in the nation. He is recognized as a five-star recruit in the aggregate rankings created by the industry. The 6-1, 185-pound player was formerly committed to Alabama, but he is not committed at this time.

The candidate for the class of 2025 has the luxury of being able to attend almost any school he wants because he has almost every offer on the table.

Ffrench traveled to Las Vegas this past weekend for Nike’s “The Next Ones” event, which brought together 34 of the nation’s best high school football prospects. The purpose of the talent gathering for the class of 2025 was for the top high school recruits to bond as a brotherhood, have fun, and get to know one another better.

At the Orlando Under Armour Camp at Bishop Moore High School on Sunday, a few of the best prospects from the state of Florida in the 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes engaged in competition.

Under head coach Mario Cristobal’s direction, recruitment is a primary priority at the University of Miami and never ceases.

In the 2024 cycle, Miami signed the fourth overall class, and in the 2023 cycle, the seventh class.

The Hurricanes have signed members of the top ten recruiting classes in a row for the first time since 247Sports began inception.
