After witnessing the third-ranked Wolverines defeat second-ranked Ohio State, 30-24, in The Game—another fantastic chapter in what is arguably the greatest rivalry in college football—on Saturday, recruits, their families, and their coaches persisted in praising the experience at Michigan.

Gatlin Bair, a senior receiver from Burley, Idaho, who is ranked No. 35 overall in the 247Sports Player Rankings, was the best uncommitted prospect on campus in the 2024 recruiting cycle. The nation’s fastest player, who is now committed to Boise State, is also taking Oregon and the Wolverines into consideration for the remainder of his recruitment. In the story linked above, he and several other highly sought-after prospects talked excitedly about returning to Ann Arbor on Saturday.

Additionally, Wolverines tight end Colston Loveland was tutored by Cameron Andersen, who was interviewed by 247Sports.The vibe was amazing,” Andersen said to 247Sports. “There are so many excellent recruits. They did a fantastic job at capturing the sense of family there. In every aspect of the game, the product on the field was of the highest caliber.

“They had a fantastic weekend.”

Keeping with the Big Ten, all 18 programs (which now include Oregon, UCLA, USC, and Washington) have first-round standouts and Day 2 value options.
