Video: D’Antre Robinson of Florida DL Surprises Mom with a Home Purchased with Zero Earnings
D’Antre Robinson didn’t take long to leverage his fame, likeness, and money.
The rookie defensive lineman for the Florida Gators shared a video of himself surprising his mother with a new home on his YouTube channel:
Robinson had committed to Texas at first, but after being freed from his national letter of intent, he ended up enrolling with Florida in December, according to Nick de la Torre of On 3. He inked a contract with Florida Victorious, one of the NIL-affiliated collectives at the school.
Although the agreement’s specifics were kept under wraps, de la Torre pointed out Robinson is valued at $111,000 according to 3’s NIL Valuation methodology.
According to 247Sports’ aggregate rankings, Robinson was rated as a 4-star recruit and the No. 261 overall player in the class of 2024.
After three straight losing seasons, the Florida program is looking to turn things around, and he will try to help.
