Daniel Farke makes  leeds united there nothing wit

Leeds United’s next match against Millwall is in nine days after tonight’s full-time loss to Sheffield Wednesday. The Whites will be happy with the remaining matches considering they had to almost fit four into the same period of time heading into tonight.

Over the past few games, traffic has been more of a problem, and Daniel Farke will be making three more changes in South Yorkshire tonight. Sam Byram is not included in the squad for tonight’s match since he played 88 minutes on Tuesday and needs to be handled carefully following his most recent layoff.

In the 30-year-old’s place at left back, Junior Firpo is back. Archie Gray, who took a break during the week, gets called up to the defense to take Connor Roberts’ place.

Roberts sits on the bench tonight despite having been quietly impressive over the past few games and contributing much to the dressing room. Despite scoring on Tuesday night, Wilfried Gnonto replaces Daniel James in the attacking lineup.

Sam Allison will officiate tonight’s match against Sheffield Wednesday. He will be supported by Matthew Smith, Blake Antrobus, and fourth official Gavin Ward. The pair played to a dull 0-0 tie at Hillsborough in October 2019, the last time these two teams faced in Sheffield.

Wilfried Gnonto, Georginio Rutter, Crysencio Summerville, Patrick Bamford, Illan Meslier, Archie Gray, Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, Junior Firpo, Ilia Gruev, Glen Kamara, and Leeds United all started.

Karl Darlow, Charlie Cresswell, Connor Roberts, Liam Cooper, Joel Piroe, Daniel James, Sam Byram, Joe Gelhardt, and Mateo Joseph are the replacements.
