Enoch Wangoy

Wangoy……….On Saturday night, Jacksonville (Fla.) Zarephath Academy sleeper offensive tackle Enoch Wangoy unexpectedly committed to the Florida Gators.

He mentioned that he had received offers recently from Syracuse and Auburn.

Listed at 6 feet 7 inches and 314 pounds, Wangoy is a British native who immigrated to the US to pursue a career in basketball. However, he tried his hand at football and, in just one season, caught the interest of other programs, including Florida.

On Saturday, he went to see the Gators.

After an excellent visit and conversation with I am thrilled to declare my commitment to the University of Florida!🐊
The Gators, who now have the 13th-best class in the nation, have committed Wangoy as their fifth pick in the 2025 class. Noel Portnjagin, another offensive lineman from Europe, was signed by Florida in the 2024 class.
The Florida staff, according to insiders, thinks Wangoy has a special set of skills to go along with his outstanding physique. Some people think he resembles two offensive lineman from the most recent class: Favour Edwin (Auburn) and Lucas Simmons (Florida State). Simmons was born in Sweden.

Wangoy’s 86.25-inch wing span may be his most remarkable stature. Length of arms: 35 inches.

Along with Peyton Joseph, a 4-star interior offensive lineman from Warner Robins, Georgia, Houston County, Wangoy is Florida’s second offensive line commit for the 2025 class. In February, Joseph made a commitment to the Gators.
