On Friday morning, the Miami Hurricanes football team had its third spring practice.

The first week of spring football concluded with Friday’s practice. The program will have a week off for spring break before starting back up on Tuesday, March 19.

This week, 247Sports’ scouting department released their updated class of 2025 recruiting rankings, which included significant adjustments at the EDGE position. 23 pass rushers with four-star ratings and multiple new names in the top 10 rated at the position are included in the redesigned Top247.

The finest college football players will engage in a series of intense recruiting contests over the following four months, with just three of the top 10 pass-rushers having committed before the spring recruitment season.

EDGE with four stars Isaiah Gibson was identified in the most recent recruiting update as one of the top risers from the class of 2025. Due to his exceptional testing profile and strong on-field performance in Warner Robins (Ga.), our analysts felt confident enough to move Gibson up 66 spots to No. 17 overall. He replaced Jared Smith as the top-ranked EDGE in 2025.
