Why Endrick’s victory vs England was permitted by VAR even though the Brazil star was offside

Despite VAR ruling Endrick offside, his winning goal against England at Wembley was legitimate.

In the 80th minute, the 17-year-old poked in to become the youngest-ever male goal scorer in Wembley history. Endrick opened his international account after the goal and began to celebrate wildly.

Jordan Pickford had stopped Vinicius Junior’s first attempt after the Real Madrid star had gotten past the Three Lions defense to score. “I was talking to Gilberto about how his body fits into his clothes, how he struck the ball, how he had a little Romario quality about him, and the happiness on his face—he was the youngest player to score at

During this current international break, Endrick will be looking to build on his first goal for Brazil. On Tuesday, Brazil plays Spain at the Santiago Bernabeu, his future home.

In the meantime, the Three Lions’ goal in their second match of the week is to get back on track. Tuesday is when Gareth Southgate’s team returns to Wembley to play Belgium.
