Chelsea expect 30-year-old star to leave the club for the Saudi Pro League
Chelsea wants to get rid of Lukaku
Lukaku remains Chelsea’s biggest problem before to the summer transfer window. Over the past three seasons, the striker has been on loan at Inter Milan and Roma in Italy.
Despite Chelsea’s plan to send the striker to Saudi Arabia at the time, the striker won and returned to Italy.
The former Everton and Manchester United striker has indicated interest in joining Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal. The Belgian striker may wait until the summer transfer window opens instead of deciding on his immediate future.
The 30-year-old forward was reportedly demanded for €43 million by Chelsea, a price that the Saudi teams could readily afford.
Lukaku declined the Saudi club’s offer during the summer transfer window in favor of a move to Europe.
Chelsea will have to sell players due to financial difficulties.
Owing to their financial woes, the Blues might have to let go of a few key players. They want to sell Lukaku even if the quantities listed would not help them in the accounting sector.
In order to obtain a reasonable amount of their money back, the Premier League team hopes to be sold to Saudi Arabia.
Roma has been quite impressed with Lukaku’s performances this season and is still eager to find a way to keep him.
Roma feels that they will only be able to pay his €43 million salary if they qualify for the Champions League the following year.
