Trent Jordan Watt more commonly known as T.J. Watt is an American football player who plays as a defensive linebacker for the National Football League (NFL) team Pittsburgh Steelers. He was drafted by the Steelers in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. T.J. Watt has been one of the best defensive players in the league and he was awarded the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2021. T.J. played a couple of seasons alongside his brother Derek Watt for the Pittsburgh Steelers, while his oldest brother J.J. Watt also played in the NFL primarily with the Houston Texans. Watt attended the University of Wisconsin and was also named in the First Team All-Big Ten. T.J. signed a four-year contract with the Steelers in 2021 worth $112, which made him the highest-paid defensive player in the league. T.J. Watt is a 5-time Pro Bowler and holds the tied record for the most sacks in an NFL season.
Dani Marie Rhodes is a professional soccer player who currently plays for Thróttur Reykjavík, a soccer club in Iceland. Dani Rhodes was born on 8th April 1998 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She and T.J. Watt both attended the University of Wisconsin. She attended from 2016 to 2019 and played as a starter for her soccer team. She scored her first goal in college against Illinois State and went on to be named to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team in 2016. In her Senior year of college, Dani Rhodes was named the Big Ten Forward of the Year.
Rhodes made her professional debut playing for the National Women’s Soccer League (NSWL) team Chicago Red Stars. She played three out of four of the Red Stars’ matches before they got canceled due to COVID-19 in 2020. In July 2021, she signed for the Icelandic top-tier soccer club Þróttur Reykjavík. Dani has a large following on social media with more than 45,000 followers on Instagram. Rhodes is a former teammate of T.J. Watt’s sister-in-law Kealia Ohai who is married to J.J. Watt.

Dani Rhodes was born to Deann and Dan Rhodes in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She was raised along with her two siblings Drew Rhodes and Dylan Rhodes. Talking about Drew, her older brother she said “a best friend and brother all in one.”
And while talking about Dylan, her younger brother she added: “the best younger brother a sister could ask for.” In an Instagram caption, she wrote, “You have the biggest heart out of anyone I know and I’m so proud of WHO you are.
On his Instagram post, Watt exclaimed that he was the “luckiest man in the world”.
Watt and Rhodes are college sweethearts. She enrolled at the University of Wisconsin in 2016 and some of her time in school overlapped with Watt’s time there before he entered the NFL. The couple dated for several years and announced via Instagram that they were engaged on July 9, 2021. Dani had also captioned a series of engagement posts “It still feels like I’m dreaming. Woke up today feeling so incredibly happy and blessed that I get to marry my best friend. I can’t wait to love you FOREVER!”.
T.J. Watt tied the knot with Dani Rhodes in July 2022. The couple got married in Cabo San Lucas, a city in Mexico in front of their families and many of their teammates from the Pittsburgh Steelers and Rhodes’ soccer team.
