HABAKKUK BALDONADO WAS FOUND …
The prophet Habakkuk Italian-born American football linebacker Thomas Baldonado was born on September 6, 1999, and he currently plays for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. Pittsburgh was his college football team.
Italy was the birthplace of Baldonado, who immigrated to Florida in 2017.[1][2][3] For a year, he studied at Clearwater Academy International in Clearwater, Florida. In his one season, he recorded 30.5 sacks and 83 tackles.[4] Baldonado committed to play collegiate football at the University of Pittsburgh.[5]
In his lone game as a freshman in 2018, Baldonado took a redshirt versus Pittsburgh. He recorded four sacks and thirty tackles in 2019. Due to injury, he only participated in four games in 2020 but still managed three tackles. Baldonado started 14 games and recorded 41 tackles and 9 sacks in 2021.[6][7]
On April 29, 2023, Baldonado signed a free agent contract with the New York Giants after going undrafted in the 2023 NFL draft.[10] The Saskatchewan Roughriders selected Baldonado in the second round (12th overall) of the 2023 CFL Global Draft on May 2.[11] On August 29, 2023, the Giants waived him.[12]
