Cole parmer last premier league game made chelsea to ….

Cole Palmer, a forward, is about to sign a permanent contract with Chelsea for £40 million from Manchester City. Pep Guardiola stated earlier this summer that the youngster would not be suited for a loan move away from the team.

Should the deal go through it would take the spending at Chelsea under the Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital ownership to £1.02bn.

It will also take their spending this summer alone to £419m. In over five years and 11 transfer windows under Mauricio Pochettino, Spurs only spent £412m.

Palmer was on the bench for the final two games and participated in the Premier League opening against Burnley.

The 21-year-old, who scored in the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla and the Community Shield against Arsenal, is demanding more chances to play in the starting lineup.

Should I stay or leave? Cole Palmer, a winger for Manchester City, has a few critical weeks coming up that could determine how far his rising career takes him.

This season, the 21-year-old has undoubtedly shown off his skills while wearing City blue. This month, he scored goals for his team in both their Community Shield and UEFA Super Cup matches.

His header against Sevilla in midweek revealed another aspect of his game, then at Wembley he curled a breathtaking attempt past Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. Both goals showcased his diverse skill set.

Palmer obviously has the winning touch when you consider his part in leading England’s U21 team to victory in the European Championship earlier this summer.

But with the winger’s future being called into question by both the player and manager Pep Guardiola, will that winning aura be with City or another team?
