Buffalo Bills president Kim Pegula meets Dylan Isaacs family after…
Dylan Brody Isaacs, 30, Ontario, Canada, was shot to death late Sunday after he attended the game with friends. According to Miami Gardens Police Department, Isaacs and his friends were walking back to their vehicle after attending the Bills-Miami Dolphins NFL game just before midnight and became involved in an altercation with a man in a sedan. The incident occurred in a parking lot near the stadium around 11:55 p.m.
Miami Gardens police officers on Tuesday said that the sedan believed to be involved in the fatal shooting was located in West Palm Beach Monday and has been seized by police, officers said. A suspect was also identified and interviewed.
According to police, a car was moving erratically in the area and reportedly struck a pedestrian. Isaacs’ family said that a man in the car had attempted to drive into Isaacs and his friends and the group chased after the car as it sped off.
Police said that the man exited the car, fired several rounds, returned to the car and sped off. Despite efforts by emergency responders, Isaacs was pronounced dead at the scene, officers said.
Further details of the investigation were not released.
An online fundraiser, created to assist Issacs family with funeral and burial expenses, has raised more than $92,500 in two days.
