After losing 3-2 on Tuesday, the Atlanta Braves had yet another difficult night out west and lost the series to the Seattle Mariners. The Braves have dropped their last two games together for the first time this season.
The pitching of the Braves remained excellent, but the offense was once again deficient. Atlanta got seven hits and ten strikeouts in the game. The team’s first run was scored by Ozzie Albies, and another run was added after a Seattle error, but it was unable to overcome the Mariners, who were leading the division.
With Chris Sale on the disabled list today afternoon at 3:40 ET, the Braves, who are now 19-9 on the year, will attempt to avoid the sweep.

Jordan Beck, the top outfield prospect, was promoted by the Colorado Rockies. In his MLB debut, 23-year-old Beck collected two hits.
