Mandatory Credit: Michael Laughlin/USA TODAY Sports The arrival of Kristaps Porzingis throughout the offseason undoubtedly propelled the Boston Celtics to where they are now. The truth is that his delayed return from injury will be detrimental to the Jayson Tatum-led club, especially considering they are looking for a championship this season.

After two high-profile stints playing for the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks, Porzingis spent the last two years playing for a mediocre Washington Wizards team. During that stretch, the Latvian star posted averages of 22.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game.
