now news;Dallas Cowboys, Ezekiel Elliott reunion is reportedly ‘increasingly imminent’

Ezekiel Elliott, a running back and free agent, might return to Texas.

Elliott and agent Rocky Arceneaux reportedly met with the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday to discuss Elliott’s possible comeback. The Dallas Morning News reports that a reunion is “increasingly imminent.”

After spending seven years with the Cowboys, the three-time Pro Bowler—who led the NFL in running yards in both 2016 and 2018—played for the New England Patriots last season.

Elliott recorded career-lows in all three categories as the Patriots concluded the season 4–13: 642 rushing yards, 313 receiving yards, and three touchdowns

The Athletic said Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones gave the three-time Pro Bowler great praise after his meeting with the Dallas brass.
