One injured following hit-and-run on W. Beltline Blvd.{ }{p}{/p}

WFSB, North Haven, Conn. The driver of the truck that struck nd killed the 2-year-old German shepherd is wanted by the police.

The dog was hit in the vicinity of 1650 Hartford Turnpike at approximately 7:40 a.m., according to North Haven Police.

The motorist, according to the police, was travelling north on the Hartford Turnpike in a white Ford pickup truck or SUV.

Police say the truck or SUV should have front-end damage.
