Captain Themba Zwane is anticipating the World Cup qualifying matches.

Nine Mamelodi Sundowns players will turn their attention to representing their countries, Bafana Bafana and the Zimbabwean Warriors, after the domestic season concluded this past weekend.

“These are two really significant games. Even though we know the two games would be tough, especially the one against Nigeria, all we want is to win them. We’ll be playing away from home, so it will be more challenging. We have experience playing against them in AFCON, so we are aware of their potential. We’re going to battle hard to make sure we get the appropriate outcomes, and it will be a great game to witness,” Zwane stated.

After that, on Saturday, coach  g ‘ team will travel back to South Africa in preparation for their Tuesday, June 11, 2024, game against the Warriors in Bloemfontein. It will be challenging to square off against his Mamelodi Sundowns teammate, Lunga, according to. Zwane, though, declared that his team will approach this match with optimism.

Nigeria will play Bafana Bafana on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo. The game is set to begin at 20:00. On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein, they will thereafter play host to Zimbabwe. The game is set to begin at 18:00.
