The Atlanta Braves have had to rotate players on and off the roster every year to accommodate illnesses and requirements, but this season has been among the hardest to far in 2024.
The squad’s best position player and pitcher, Ronald Acuña Jr. and Spencer Strider, are no longer with the team. Major injuries sustained by both will delay their comeback until the 2025 season.

Due to all of that, general manager Alex Anthopoulos and manager of the Braves Brian Snitker have been forced to look both inside and outside the organisation for ways to strengthen the bench, bullpen, lineup, and rotation.
The Braves have employed 41 different players through their first 59 games; veteran infielder/outfielder Brian Anderson was the most recent addition on Tuesday.
