Former FSU Football Running Back Commits to Rival Miami Hurricanes
Former Florida State running back Rodney Hill has officially transferred to Miami.
In January of 2022, Hill enrolled at FSU and saw some significant game time in his first two seasons for the Seminoles. Almost two years later, he initially elected to transfer to FAMU but reentered the portal when head coach Willie Simmons decided to join Manny Diaz as the running backs coach at Duke.

Upon leaving FSU, Hill thanked those in the football program for his time in Tallahassee.
“I wanna thank my coaches and FSU for bringing me in, Much love to all my teammates and to the strength staff and trainers that have worked with me while I been here but I will be entering the transfer portal,” said Hill.
Hill’s departure comes at a time in which the Garnet and Gold have secured multiple running back transfers in the portal.
