BREAKING: PARRAMATTA EELS SUFFER MAJOR TRANSFER BLOW AS APA TWIDLE CHOOSES PERTH BEARS!

The Parramatta Eels have been dealt a significant setback, with one of the club’s brightest young prospects, Apa Twidle, reportedly agreeing to join the Perth Bears on a three-year deal starting in 2027.

Twidle has been widely regarded as a player with enormous potential and a key part of Parramatta’s long-term plans. His decision to move to the NRL’s newest franchise is a major statement of intent from the Bears, who continue to build an exciting squad ahead of their entry into the competition.

For the Eels, this is another challenge during a period of transition under coach Jason Ryles. While the club is focused on rebuilding and strengthening its roster, losing a highly-rated youngster before he reaches his full potential will undoubtedly disappoint many fans.

The big question now is whether Parramatta can replace Twidle’s potential through recruitment or by developing the next wave of young talent coming through the system.
